Knob Noster, Mo. -- About 45 people endured the weather on a cold March morning to celebrate the breaking of ground at 208 N. Lincoln for the 5th Habitat home to be built in Johnson County.
Chandra and Charla Kuhlman, the selected partner family, were introduced by Darrin Tobias, president of Habitat of JOCO, and shared with those present their gratitude and excitement.
Other honored participants were Mike and Vicki Grove of Lincoln, Mo. The Grove family has donated two building sites at 206 and 208 N. Lincoln for Habitat homes.
A floor plan has been selected and foundation work will begin immediately.
