Warrensburg resident James Earl Feldman dead at 89

WARRENSBURG, Mo. -- James Earl Feldman, 89, Warrensburg, died Sunday, June 15, 2008, at St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City, Mo.

He was born on Nov. 4, 1918, in Centerview, Mo., the son of William and Anna (Bresnahan) Feldman.

On June 15, 1941, he married Lorrine Cox in Warrensburg.

Feldman was a graduate of the University Training High School. He was a farmer and owned his own painting and wallpapering business in Warrensburg.

Survivors include: his wife Lorrine Cox; two daughters, Linda Henderson and husband, James, Platte City, Mo., and Deanna Feldman of Kansas City; three grandchildren, Janet Smith, Windsor, Cali., Laura Spooner, New Ulm, Minn., and Michael Henderson, Destin, Fla.; nine great grandchildren,
Lara Henderson, Tara Rose, and Desiere Henderson, Platte City, Todd Smith, Stephanie Smith, Mathew Smith, and Brice Smith, Windsor, Cali., Zach Henderson, Destin, Fla., and Ashley Spooner of New Ulm, Minn.; three great-great grandchildren, Landen Craig and Stephen Craig both, Platte City, and Madison Smith, Windsor, Cali.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Francis and William Feldman; five sisters, Lillian Conner, Connie Garnett, Carrie Norris, Katherine Flinner and Anna Dove; and one great granddaughter, Melissa Hubbard.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, June 21, 2008, at the Sweeney-Phillips & Holdren Funeral Home in Warrensburg.

Father Dennis Schaab will be officiating.

Burial will be in the Sunset Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers are James Henderson, Michael Henderson, Zach Henderson, Charles Bayard and David Craig.

The family will receive friends on Saturday morning from 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and may be left in care of the funeral home.
