Higginsville driver hurt when car hits deer

WARRENSBURG, Mo. -- A Higginsville woman was injured when her car struck a deer on Missouri 13 Wednesday morning.
Brandi L. Evans, 29, was southbound on 13 near Route NW 1000 at 5:40 a.m. when she struck the deer. She was taken to Western Missouri Medical Center by the Johnson County EMS. Trooper R. Shaul described her injuries as minor. Her car sustained extensive damage.
