WARRENSBURG, Mo. -- The Central Missouri Jennies volleyball team has added one more to its 2008 class as Bradye Peniston signed a letter of intent to wear the Cardinal & Black.
The Wichita, Kan. native will come to Warrensburg from Valley Center High School after an award-winning career. A two-year letterman, she led her team to the state tournament in both seasons while earning all-conference honors as well. A first-team all-league selection as a senior, Peniston also plays basketball and softball at VCHS.
On the court, she was named all-conference three times, two on the first-team, and an honorable mention all-state pick as a senior. In softball, she lettered four seasons and has been named first-team all-conference at third base two times.
The Jennies volleyball squad is one of the premier NCAA Division II programs in the nation, going to a record 25 consecutive NCAA Tournaments and winning at least 25 games in a season the last 30 years in a row. Last year, UCM went 31-7 and finished with a No. 9 national ranking.
