Exhibition art show provides UCM students with scholarships

WARRENSBURG, Mo.-- The UCM Gallery of Art and Design is hosting the 42nd Annual Citation Awards Exhibition Feb. 26 to March 6.
The exhibition is open to all art majors and minors in the Department of Art and Design. The exhibition allows the faculty to distribute more than 30 awards and scholarships. The scholarship awards are determined by the department's scholarship committee and an outside juror.
The juror this year is a Kansas City, Mo., based painter, Grant Miller. He has participated in numerous national and international exhibitions. Miller will present a lecture on his work Tuesday, March 2, at 1 p.m.
The awards reception is Thursday, March 4, at 3 p.m. in the Gallery and Art Design.
All events are free and open to the public.
