PHOTO GALLERY: Gallery of Art and Design opens exhibition season

WARRENSBURG, Mo. – UCM’s Gallery of Art and Design opened its 2009 - 2010 exhibition season, Aug. 18, with an annual exhibition highlighting the works of faculty members.

At the exhibition, visitors will view works created by current faculty, emeriti faculty and a Department of Art and Design alumni. Mediums range from paintings and sculpture to textile works.

The exhibition is located in the main gallery of the Art Center Building, at 217 Clark St., across the street from the James C. Kirkpatrick Library, and will continue until Sept. 18.

Public parking is available in the visitors' parking lot on Clark, across from the Union.

The gallery’s hours are Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturdays from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., or by appointment. Admission is free and open to everyone. For more information or directions, contact the gallery at 660-543-4498.
