3 hurt in Missouri 58 accident

WARRENSBURG, Mo.--Three people were injured, one of them seriously, in a two-car accident about noon Friday On Missouri 58 at West Division Road.
According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, a car driven by Jennifer L. Heyer, 26, of Leeton, failed to yield the right-of-way to a car driven by Cathy J. Clear, 56, of Warrensburg. The Clear auto struck the driver's side of the Heyer car.
Ms. Heyer was taken by helicopter to Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence with serious injuries. A passenger in the Heyer car, Carolyn S. Schofield, 33, of Chilhowee, had moderate injuries and was taken to Research Hospital in Kansas City.
Cathy Clear was taken to Western Missouri Medical Center here with moderate injuries, patrol Sgt. D.S. Green said. The accident is stillo being investigated, and chages are pending.
