ST. LOUIS (AP) — The FBI is searching for a serial bank robber in the St. Louis area.
The Federal Bureau of Investigations says a man who robbed the First Bank on Wednesday is believed to be the same person responsible for three previous bank robberies.
The earlier crimes happened in St. Louis, Clayton and Affton between Jan. 9 and Feb. 3. The FBI has dubbed him the "Same Coat Bandit" because he appears to be wearing the same coat in each robbery.
In the crime on Wednesday, the robber did not show a weapon and no one was hurt.
