2 hurt in Route 13 crash Wednesday morning

WARENSBURG, Mo.--Two people were injured Wednesday morning in a collision on Missouri Route 13 at Missouri Route 2.
Cpl. A. Coats of the Missouri Highway Patrol said Erica Ashley, 17, of Lowry City, Mo., turned south from Route 2 into Route 13, and was struck by a northbound car driven by Bryan N. Brink, 42, of Clinton, Mo.
Ashley and her passenger, Debra K. Morgan, 49, also of Lowry City, were transported to Golden Valley Hospital in Clinton by Johnson County EMS. Morgan was not wearing a seatbelt, Coats said.
The investigation is continuing and charges are pending.
