3 hurt in US 50 crash; Sedalia driver charged with DWI, driving while revoked

WARRENSBURG, Mo.--A Sedalia driver was arrested following a two-car crash Thursday on U,S. 50 in Warrensburg, which sent three people to hospitals.

Missouri Highway Patrol trooper B.R. Peters said Angela F. Gallop, 47, was charged with DWI as a prior offender and driving while her license is revoked, after her car pulled off an outer road and struck an eastbound car driven by Klayton N. Osborne, 17, Warrensburg.

Gallop was taken to Western Missouri Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries, then to the Johnson County Jail. She was later released.

Both people in the Osborne car were taken to Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City. Klayton Osborne had minor injuries, and his passenger, Garrett Osborne, 14, also of Warrenburg, had moderate injuries. Neither youth was wearing a seat belt.

Both cars were extensively damaged.
