Car slams tree; 3 people hurt

KNOB NOSTER, Mo.--Three Knob Noster people sustained minor injuries when their vehicle struck a tree along SE 200 Road near Missouri 23 Friday night.
State Trooper E.L. Tyrell said a car driven by John D. Lee, 64, went off the right side of the road about 7 p.m. and crashed into a tree.
Lee and two passengers--Jackie S. Lee, 75, and Olie A. Magee, 97--were taken to Western Missouri Medical Center for treatment of injuries. Only the driver was wearing a seat belt.
