Holden driver hurt when SUV strikes 2 trees, rolls over

WARRENSBURG, Mo.--A Holden driver was seriously injured in a one-car accident Tuesday afternoon on U.S. 50, east of Missouri 131.
Missouri Highway Patrol trooper J. Owens said a SUV driven by Meredith L. Perkins, 35, went off the right wide of the road, struck a tree, went airborne, struck another tree and rolled over. Although the driver was not wearing a seat belt, she was not ejected from her vehicle, Owens said.
She was taken to Research Hospital in Kansas City, Mo., for treatment of her injuries.
