Holden teen seriously hurt when struck by car

KINGSVILLE, Mo.--A Holden teenager was seriously injured early Saturday when he stepped onto US 50 and was struck by a car.
James A. Kelly, 17, was transported to Research Hospital in Kansas City.
Missouri Highway Patrol trooper J. Baughman said Kelly was a pedistrian along US 50, about two miles east of MO 131 about 1:08 a.m., when he stepped into the right lane of the road and was struck by a car driven by Debra F. Schlomer, 48, of Sedalia.
