LA MONTE, Mo.--A Knob Noster driver was taken via helicopter to University Hospital in Columbia, following a Feb. 6 one-car accident on Missouri 127 in Pettis County.

Missouri Highway Patrol trooper D.N. Morey said Julia A. Ward, 44, was seriously injured when her car went off the right side of the road and overturned several times. Her car was totaled.

Morey was joined in the accident investigation by two Patrol supervisors, Pettis County deputies and the LaMonte police.

Charges are pending.
