St. Louis Symphony announces 2012-13 season

ST. LOUIS (AP) — Many well-known favorites will be part of the upcoming season for the St. Louis Symphony.
The orchestra announced details Tuesday for its season that starts Sept. 28 and runs through May 12, 2013. It will include performances of Beethoven's Symphony No. 9, Handel's Messiah, Mozart's Requiem and all-Mozart and all-Tchaikovsky programs.
Meanwhile, after a 14-year hiatus, the symphony will return to international touring with a trip to Europe in September that will include stops in Berlin, London and Paris.
