Michael B. Steel, 42, has died; memorial service is Friday

WARRENSBURG, Mo.--Michael Bertram Steel, 42, of Warrensburg, died Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009, at his home.
He was born Jan. 24, 1967, in Clarinda, Iowa, the son of William and Bettie (Isbill) Steel.
Michael was a passionate auto mechanic and worked privately on many individuals' vehicles. He also loved to hunt and fish. Michael was a member of the Crossroads Seventh-day Adventist Church in Centerview.
Survivors include 3 brothers, John Steel and wife Melinda of Zionsville, Ind., David Rogers and wife Trish of Bullhead City, Az., and Steven Rogers and wife Deb of Council Bluff,Iowa; a sister, Carolyn Casey and husband Jim of Warrensburg; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 27, 2009, at Sweeney-Phillips & Holdren Funeral Home, Warrensburg.
Elder Warren Wheatley and Pastor Al Oetman will be officiating.
Burial will be in Forrest Lawn Cemetery in Omaha, Neb., at a later date.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Crossroads Seventh-day Adventist Church or Chilhowee Restoration Branch of Jesus Christ Church and may be let at the Funeral Home.
