Many people may not know Paradise Park has been around since 1994, when it was called Putter’s Paradise.
With Lee’s Summit growing rapidly, Putter’s Paradise decided to expand and change its name to Paradise Park. Now on a little more than 14 acres, Paradise Park has received many awards, such as Small Business of the Year in 2007.
The most popular attractions are the miniature golf and go-carts, but Paradise Park has more than just those two. With indoor and outdoor attractions, rainy days will not be a bother.
Each attraction costs a small fee, but Paradise Park offers a Max Pak for unlimited indoor attractions all day for $19.95. There are also the unlimited indoor and outdoor attractions for $24.95.
Paradise Park’s Web site has coupons and the e-mail list sends out coupons often also.
Indoor attractions include a foam factory, rock wall, bumper cars, arcades and the Children’s Edutainment Center, which is designed for ages 9 and younger.
In the Center, there are various stations for children to learn and play. Stations include pretend fishing, restaurant, bank, toddler play, soft play and more.
Chris Simon, director of marketing, said, “Paradise Park offers a unique mix of fun for people of all ages. From our corporate groups and team-building to field trips and summer camps, we offer a friendly, safe and fun environment.”
Paradise Park is in the running for Best Indoor Playspace in the Kansas City area. With 42 days to go, Paradise Park has 32 percent of the votes, which is second to Fun Run with 34 percent.
To get to Paradise Park from Warrensburg, go west on Highway 50 to Highway 291 North. Exit Highway 291 at the Colbern Road ramp and turn right. It will be on your right, next to a fire station.
