WARRENSBURG, Mo. – The Central Missouri Jennies basketball team sailed to a 97-66 victory over Graceland (Iowa) University on Sunday afternoon at the UCM Multipurpose Building. With this win, the Jennies remain undefeated against the Yellowjackets.

UCM (1-0) got a layup at the 19 minute mark from Danielle Shows, which was the start of a 26-4 run to start the game. The Jennies would get their largest lead of 29 points at 1:25 of the first half, taking a 54-29 advantage into the locker room.

In the second stanza, Central Missouri kept on rolling as the Jens went out to the biggest margin of 41 points on a layup by Ana Migueres at the 6:04 mark. The Yellowjackets brought the lead down to 29 on a three-pointer by Keturah Spotwood, but UCM would prove to be to mush for GU to contain.

Rebecca Roberts recorded her first double-double of the season, collecting 23 points and bringing down 14 boards. Migueres just missed a double-double of her own, tallying 21 points and nine rebounds. Also in double figures was Meghan Waggoner with 13 points.

The Jennies will return to the hardwood on Friday, as they host the Jennies Classic presented by Comfort Inn / KOKO and 98.5 THE BAR. Central Missouri is slated to play Texas A&M-Kingsville with game time now at 2:30 p.m., due to the NCAA Volleyball Regional hosted by UCM.
