Jennies bowlers take 4th in Fontbonne invitational, beating 5 nationally ranked teams

ST.LOUIS-– The No. 5 Central Missouri Jennies bowling squad took fourth this weekend in the Fontbonne Griffin Invitational in a tournament loaded with top 15 teams.
The Jennies went 8-6 overall, with wins against No. 14 Wisconsin-Whitewater, No. 13 Minnesota State twice, No. 11 Valparaiso, No. 6 Arkansas State and No. 14 Louisiana Tech.
Individually, Amanda Falk finished ninth with a 187.71 average, while Natalie Jimenez was 14th overall, with a 181.14 average pinfall.
No. 8 Nebraska won the event with an 11-3 mark.
The Jennies will now be off until Feb. 27-28 when they travel to Bessener, Ala., for the Alabama A&M Holiday Classic.
