Mules Golf takes 5th in Texas

SAN ANTONIO, Texas -- The Central Missouri golf squad competed Monday and Tuesday in the Bruce Williams Memorial Invitational in San Antonio, Texas and came away with a fifth place finish.
The tournament, hosted by St. Mary’s University, had some tough competition as the University of Texas competed. The Longhorns won it at 875 (+11) while the Mules posted an 889 (+25). Junior Justin Yoder finished in a tie for third overall after shooting a three-round total of 214 (-2) while senior Ty Needels was eighth at 217 (+1).
The Mules will head to Southwest Baptist for the second and final MIAA meet of the fall season on October 6-7 at Silo Ridge Country Club in Bolivar.
