Mules Golf wins the Missouri Intercollegiate

WARRENSBURG, Mo. -– The Central Missouri Mules golf team didn’t take long to win their first tournament of 2008-09 as they shot a two-round score of 583 (+7) at the Missouri Intercollegiate in Sunrise Beach, Mo. to take the title in the first event of the season.
UCM had two players earn All-Tournament team honors and junior Justin Yoder tied for the individual title with a 140 (-4). Sophomore Zach VanDolah was tied for fourth at 143 (-1) to round out the team.
The Mules finished eight shots ahead of Drury for the championship while the closest MIAA competition was Missouri Southern at 599 (+23).
UCM will play in the William Woods Invitational on September 8-9 in Fulton, Mo.
