Early has big night as Leeton thrashes Ballard 42-12

LEETON, Mo.--Mallory Early hit 9 of ll shots for 18 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to lead Leeton to a commanding 42-12 win over Ballard Monday.
Leeton led 14-1 after the first period, 24-6 at halftime, and 40-8 after three quarters, before scoring a single basket in the fourth quarter.
Megan Uptegrove had nine points, Courtney Fleming had seven, Beth Hamline six and Cheyenne Stone two.
Coach Jim Newland said "The kids did a nice job of getting the ball inside to our strength, where we could dominate from the start."
