HOLDEN, Mo. -- The Holden Eagles simply can't be beaten at the moment, as they walloped Lafayette County 42-0 on Friday night.

The Holden running attack has been unstoppable all year, and Friday night's game was no exception. Dennis Hutchings ran for 185 yards and two touchdowns off of 13 carries, and David Lerda had 162 yards and two touchdowns off of just eight carries.

Quarterback Aaron Ferguson was asked to pass just three times, in which he completed two for 31 yards and a score to Hutchings.

The defense was solid as well, with Hutchings recording an interception, and sacks by Lerda, Jacob Reiman and Clayton Hill. Reiman led the team in tackles with 12.

This Friday's matchup is between two undefeated teams in Holden and Carrolton, both at 6-0. Kickoff is at 7 p.m. at Holden High School.
