Leeton girls lose to Sweet Springs, 55-46

LEETON, Mo.--The Leeton girls basketball team lost to Sweet Springs Thursday, Feb. 9 with a final score of 55-46.
The girls executed a set play with 20 seconds to go in the fourth to tie the game. In overtime, Leeton did everything right but make the 3 pointers at the end of the first overtime with the clock running down. The game then went into a second overtime, and Sweet Springs came out on top.
Megan Uptegrove scored 15 points, Mallory Early scored 21 points, and Courtney Fleming and Lela Adams both scored 5 points.
Leeton was 6 for 10 from the free throw line.
