Warrensburg beats Smith-Cotton 49-45

WARRENSBURG, Mo. -- The Warrensburg Tigers narrowly defeated Smith-Cotton on Thursday night, 49-45.
Only five Tigers were involved in the scoring: Ryan Marks, 11; Terrence Culler, 11; Jarad Askren, 14; Tyler Schmidt, 10; and Mason Good, 3.
Askren also collected a total of 23 rebounds.
Warrensburg was able to outscore Smith-Cotton 16-9 in the third quarter, and it maintained its lead through the fourth.
Next up for Warrensburg is a home game against O'Hara, 7 p.m., Jan. 16.
