Driver dies when vehicle overturns, strikes utility pole

WARRENSBURG, Mo.--A Warrensburg driver was killed in a one-car accident Friday afternoon.
The Missouri Highway Patrol reported that Michael W. Riggs, 54, was northbound on County Road NE 151, near County Road NE 175, at 1:50 p.m., when his vehicle went off the left side of the road, hit a ditch, overturned and struck an utility pole.
Trooper R. Shaul said Riggs was not wearing a seatbelt, and was thrown from the vehicle.
