WARRENSBURG, Mo. -- Habitat for Humanity of Johnson County is having the groundbreaking ceremony for its next house Wednesday, April 25, at 5 p.m. at 628 West Gay Street in Warrensburg.

The house construction is being coordinated with the “Building Community Through Education” partnership with UCM and the Warrensburg R6 School District.

Participants in the program will include the partner family, Josh Franklin and Dawn Ybarra and their six children. The Franklin family currently resides in Knob Noster and will relocate to Warrensburg upon completion of the house. Actual construction is slated to begin when UCM resumes classes in August.
