Harley Davidson driver seriously injured, other vehicle temporarily flees scene

WARRENSBURG, Mo. -- A vehicle accident occurred on Route Y in Warrensburg on Sunday afternoon, leaving the driver of a Harley Davidson seriously injured.
Daniel J. Coleman, 57, was riding his 2004 Harley Davidson when a Ford F150 driven by Daniel A. Cameron, 37, swerved in front of Coleman. Coleman struck the rear of the truck, slid off the side of the road, and was ejected from the motorcycle. He was then lifted by the Staff for Life helicopter to Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Mo.
Cameron originally left the scene of the accident, but returned. He was issued a summons for driving while his license was revoked, failing to yield, possessing no insurance, and displaying the license plates of another.
