UPDATE: Knob Noster woman faces charges after overturning vehicle

KNOB NOSTER, Mo. -- A Knob Noster woman faces charges, including driving while intoxicated, after overturning her vehicle several times Monday night, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol.

On Feb. 6 at 7:10 p.m., Trooper D. N. Morey reported a crash on MO-127 at Main Street Road. Driver Julia Ward, 44, in serious condition, was transported to the University Hospital in Columbia. She has since then been released. She was wearing a seatbelt.

The accident occurred when Ward was driving northbound MO-127, travelled off the right side of the road and overturned several times before coming to rest.

At 8:43 p.m., Ward was arrested and charged for driving while intoxicated, possession of marijuana, and careless and imprudent driving, resulting in an accident.
