WARRENSBURG, Mo.--Two Warrensburg residents are in jail, following their arrests on suspicion of drug trafficking.

Warrensburg Police stopped a vehicle on Cleveland Street near Russell Street about 2 a.m. March 9.

This vehicle was occupied by Carl F. Oliver, 42, and Juanita J. Anderson, 33, both of Warrensburg.

Police Lt. Randy Eich said officers located approximately 50 grams of methamphetamine, approximately 70 pills, some of which were a controlled substance, and a small quantity of marijuana in the vehicle and on the occupants.

The street value of the methamphetamine seized is approximately $5,000, Eich said. Oliver and Anderson were arrested for possession of narcotics.

The Johnson County Prosecuting Attorney later filed a charge of trafficking drugs in the second degree, a class B felony, against Oliver and Anderson in connection with this case. Bond on Oliver was set at $100,000, due to his prior record, and bond on Anderson was set at $10,000.
