CABOOL, Mo. (AP) — A crash near the south-central Missouri town of Cabool has killed two people and injured six others.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident happened Sunday afternoon when 89-year-old Rose Gochal failed to yield before driving her van onto U.S. 60. The van was struck in the side by a pickup truck, which also crashed into a car.

The patrol says Gochal and her 64-year-old passenger, Raymond J. Gochal, were pronounced dead at the scene. Both of them lived in Mountain Grove.

Five people in the pickup truck and one person in the car also were injured.
