Bass Pro Tracker Marine expanding in Lebanon

LEBANON, Mo. (AP) — A company that manufactures boats and pontoons is expanding and adding jobs at two facilities in Lebanon.

Bass Pro Tracker Marine announced Wednesday that it will invest $15 million to expand the facilities and add 76 new jobs in the next five years.

The two plants in Lebanon employ more than 600 people. The main manufacturing plant produces boats and pontoons for Bass Pro Shops. The second plant produces kayaks, marine parts and fuel tanks for a variety of Bass Pro boats.

Lebanon is the largest builder of aluminum fishing and pleasure boats in the United States.

The state has authorized more than $450,000 in tax credits for the project.
