Jason Robert Ehrsam, age 39, of Warrensburg, died Thursday, Sept. 21.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 27, at Sweeney-
Phillips & Holdren Funeral Home.

He was born Jan. 7, 1978. in Springfield, Missouri, the son of Richard Ehrsam and Inga
Carlyle.

Jason graduated from Warrensburg High School, where he was a varsity wrestler. He
attended the University of Central Missouri where he graduated with an Associate’s
Degree. Jason enjoyed going to Pertle Springs with his dog, Pebbles. He also enjoyed
going fishing and going on annual float trips with his friends and family. Jason enjoyed
holidays and being around friends and family.

Jason is survived by a son, Chance Ehrsam, of Warrensburg; a daughter, Keelan Ehrsam,
of Warrensburg; his mother, Inga Carlyle, of Warrensburg; a sister, Tracy Aslam, and
husband, Aamer, of Warrensburg; four brothers, Rodger Ehrsam, of Warrensburg, Chad
Ehrsam, and wife, Jessica, of Warrensburg, Michael Ehrsam, of Lamar, Missouri, and Carey
Dickerson, and wife, Tonya, of Sparta, Missouri; his best friends, Todd Milnes and Mark
Montgomery, both of Warrensburg; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Richard Ehrsam, and father, Carmen “Bus” Rhodes.
Pallbearers will be Todd Milnes, Chad Ehrsam, Rodger Ehrsam, Chance Ehrsam, Mark Montgomery, and Mike Ehrsam.

Honorary pallbearers will be Gerald Baker, Ty Larsen, Carey Dickersen, and Aamer Aslam. The
family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Jason Ehrsam Memorial
Fund with checks made payable to Rodger Ehrsam.
