John Henry Love Jr., 54, of Holden, Mo., died Friday, Oct. 19 at home.

Graveside services followed by interment will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24 at the Holden Cemetery. The clergyman will be the Rev. Jim Stovall.

Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Ben Cast & Son – Wood Funeral Home in Holden.

Pallbearers will be John D. Love, Jacob L. Love, Shawn Bell, Ryan Bell and Corey Bell.

He was born Nov. 16, 1957 in Holden, the son of John Henry Sr. and Merrley (Thompson) Love.

John graduated from Holden High School and became a machinist. He did work for several tool and die makers, including Metric Tool and Die in Lee’s Summit, Mo. He recently worked with his mother in lawn maintenance. John lived the majority of his life in the Holden community

He leaves two sons, John Douglas Love, of Orlando, Fla., and Jacob Levi Love, St. Charles, Mo.; his mother, Merrley Blum, of Holden; one sister, Patty Bell, Kingsville, Mo.; and one grandson.
