Kenneth Drew Lovick Sr.

Kenneth Drew Lovick Sr., 76, of Kingsville, Missouri, died Aug. 20, at his home.

Graveside services were Sept. 7 at the Kingsville Cemetery.

Ken was born Jan. 24, 1942, in St. Charles, Missouri, the son of Kenneth Eugene Lovick and Anna Lucille (Bond) Lovick. He graduated from high school at Raytown. He married Betty A. Zook, and to this union five children were born. Ken worked at Hallmark Cards in Kansas City for nearly 25 years. He moved to Kingsville in 1975. Ken married Christine J. (Tidwell) Fields on Dec. 30, 2003, in Kingsville. His hobbies included fishing, hunting and photography.

Survivors include his wife, Christine; daughter, Kathy (Daran) Shinn, of Garden City, Missouri; son, Kenneth “Drew” (Ludis) Lovick Jr., of Panama; stepdaughter Charity Fields, of Kingsville, Missouri; two stepsons, Shawn (Sara) Fields, of Topeka, Kansas; and Andrew (Aimee) Fields, of Independence, Missouri; 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 11 stepgrandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Deborah Crumpton; two sons, Michael and Christopher; and an infant great-grandson.
