(WARRENSBURG, Mo.) – Area youth will have the first opportunity to sign up for “Mo’s Maniacs,” the official youth booster club of UCM athletics, at a special event Monday, Aug. 13.  The event will be hosted by the official sponsor of “Mo’s Maniacs”, DQ / Orange Julius of Warrensburg (corner of Burkarth Road & Business 50 East) from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

“Mo’s Maniac” membership ($15) entitles youth to free admission to all regular season Mules and Jennies home athletic events, a free small drink at each regular season home athletic event (courtesy of Sodexo), plus many other free items. Premium memberships, which include a Maniac T-shirt and/or backpack, are also available for $20 – $25.

Youth will also have a chance to register early for “Mo’s Maniacs” during the annual Youth Football Clinic, hosted by the UCM Mules football squad, on Saturday, Aug. 18.

The free clinic for boys and girls ages six-years-old through seventh grade, will start at 11:30 a.m., following the Mules morning practice session at Walton Stadium-Kennedy Field on the UCM campus.

Those in attendance at the clinic will learn fundamental instructions from Mules players and coaches about passing, receiving, ball handling, kicking, punting, tackling, blocking, pass coverage, and offensive and defensive line play.
