Mules Golf finishes in 10th place at North Alabama Invitational

(MUSCLE SHOALS, Ala.) – The Central Missouri Mules golf team shot a two-round total of 628 (+52) to finish in 10th place at the North Alabama Invitational/Jim Bishop Toyota Classic on Tuesday afternoon.

Henderson State won the team championship in a playoff after finishing regulation play tied at 24-over par 600 with Central Alabama.

Cy Moritz was the highest placing Mule in 20th place after firing a two-round total of 153. Sam Migdal finished in a tie for 38th place with a 158. Jason Vannwas one shot back at 159 in a tie for 42nd. Mason Good and Teddy Jones both fired two-round totals of 161 to finish in a tie for 56th place.

Wouter MyBurgh of Southwestern Oklahoma State won the medalist honors with a two-round total of 141, three-under par. Only two players shot under par for the tournament, which was played in cold temperatures and high winds.

The Mules are back in action April 1 and 2 at the Barry University Buccaneer Invitational in Miami, Fla.
