WARRENSBURG, Mo – The Warrensburg Tigers were outscored, out-sized, and overwhelmed by the Kearney Bulldogs in a MSHSAA Class 4 quarterfinal Saturday at the UCM Multipurpose Building, as Kearney won 54-33.

But for Tigers star Terence Culler, there is a more literal explanation for the familial ties he feels while on the floor. Culler often shares the backcourt with his younger brother, T.J. And like all good big brothers, Terence knows just when – and how – to pick his little brother up.

ALBUQUERQUE, N. M. – University of Central Missouri track & field sent 14 athletes to Albuquerque for the NCAA National Championships. Darius Walker won a national championship for UCM while setting a school record in the heptathlon (5,377 pts). The Mules finished fifth in team scoring for the second year in a row. The Jennies improved one spot over last year to finish in 12th place.

2 Mules wrestlers achieve All-American status

OMAHA, Neb. -- The University of Central Missouri wrestling team sent two athletes to Omaha, Neb. for the NCAA Championships and both retured as All-Americans. Seniors Cory Bloodgood (141 pounds) and Matt Bailes (174) placed 5th and 7th respectively at the national tournament Saturday.
