Charles ‘Arnold’ Bray

Charles “Arnold” Bray, 84, of Holden, Missouri, died Monday, June 11, at his home.

Memorial Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Sunday, June 17, at Williams Funeral Chapel in Holden.

There will be a Celebration of Life Service 2 p.m. Saturday, August 11, at Community of Christ Church, 201 So. Pine St. in Holden.

Charles entered this world Aug. 11, 1933, in Lowry, Missouri, son of Arthur and Jessie (Walters) Bray.

One of 15 siblings, Charles, being next to the youngest, is leaving behind one sister, Mildred Goans of Lawrence, Kansas; other survivors include his wife, Janice of the home; son, Larry (Ruthann) Bray of Taberville, Missouri; two daughters, Lori (Dan) Goodell of Ochelata, Oklahoma, and Donna (Johnny) Sprague of Vermontville, Minnesota; adopted son, Russell Bray of Otterville, Missouri; three stepchildren, Marvin (Paula) Steinke of Bosworth, Missouri; Charles Kenneth Sparks of Farmersville, Texas, and Irma (Kenny) Straub of Carrollton, Missouri; 24 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews, many being great-great.

He was preceded in death his first wife, mother of his children, Norma Jeanne Lull; grandson, Brandon Cosgrove; and second wife, Rosanne (Ferguson) Bray.

Memorial Contributions are suggested to Crossroad Hospice.
