‘Are You Smarter Than a Scam Artist?’ Holden Senior Center event

The Holden Senior Center is hosting events and presentations for older adults regularly on the second Tuesday of each month.
The first presentation is “Are You Smarter Than a Scam Artist?” and will be at 11 a.m. Feb. 13, at the Holden Senior Center on 204 W. 2nd St.
The presentation is free and interactive, and will let people know about scams while testing their fraud prevention skills.
Missouri Senior Medicare Patrol team coordinator, Brian Henning, will present “Are You Smarter than a Scam Artist?” to start the program series.
“We are hoping that these presentations will bring more people into our senior center, where they
will find out they can have a great lunch and get access to needed services,” said Center Coordinator, Joyce Lagud. “The Holden Senior Center serves good food in a very pleasant, down- home atmosphere with very genuine, caring people. We pride ourselves in giving good service and making sure that we accommodate all people.”
