Jennies fourth, Mules sixth at MIAA Cross Country Championships

(MARYVILLE, Mo.) — The Central Missouri Jennies placed fourth and the Mules were sixth at the 2012 MIAA Cross Country Championships hosted by Northwest Missouri State on Saturday morning.

Fort Hays State captured the men’s title and Missouri Southern won the women’s crown.

Comelani Wilson was the highest placing Jennie in seventh place with a 5K time of 22:45.26. Megan Glamann was ninth in a time of 22:51.77. Kacy Hession was 19th in a time of 23:31.38, while Allie Rexroat (23:40.42) was 25th and Courtney Klaty (23:51.86) was 32nd.

The Mules highest finisher was Tyler Stuber in fourth place in a time of 25:37.11. Ben Barrows was 20th in a time of 26:15.82. Adam Tredway was 31st (26:38.38), whileBryson Jarman was 33rd in a time of 26:41.72 and Austin Gott (27:03.82) was 45th.

The Mules and Jennies are back in action in two weeks at the NCAA-II Central Regional in Joplin, Mo. hosted by Missouri Southern. Racing gets underway at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 3 in Joplin.
