Jennies Golf finishes fifth at UNK Fall Classic

(AXTELL, Neb.) — The Central Missouri Jennies golf team completed the first tournament in program history with a fifth-place finish at the Nebraska-Kearney Women’s Fall Classic. The Jens fired a two-round score of 728 to tie for fifth place. Missouri Western won the team title with a team score of 654.

The top finisher for Central Missouri was freshman Kayla Temple, who fired a 170 to come in 11th place. Krystal Martinez finished in a tie for 26th place with a 185, while Jordan Thoreson finished in 28th with a 188.
Nebraska-Kearney shot a 664 to finish in second place followed by Fort Hays State (671), Dodge City CC (699) and Hastings College tied with the Jennies with a 728.
UCM is back in action Sept. 17 and 18 at the Northeastern State Classic in Tahlequah, Okla.
