The Mules golf team advanced to the NCAA-II Championships May 16-20 in Denver, Colo.

(ALLENDALE, Mich.) — The Mules golf team shot a final round 312 and finished at 48-over par, 900, to win the NCAA-II Central/Midwest Regional by one shot over Southeastern Oklahoma State.

The Mules advance to the NCAA-II Championships May 16-20 in Denver, Colorado, at Green Valley Ranch Golf Club.

Alex Springer paced the Mules, finishing with an eight-over par 221 to finish in a tie for fifth place individually. He shot a final round 77. Travis Mays shot a final round 81 and finished three shots back of Springer in a tie for ninth place.

Teddy Jones and Shayne Allan each shot a final round 77. Jones finished at 15-over par 228 and tied for 25th. Allan was one shot back in a tie for 32nd. Cole Dillon finished in a tie for 68th place after a final round 83, finishing at 23-over par 236.

Talon Supak, of Illinois-Springfield, captured the individual title, finishing at five-over par 218.
