On Wednesday, students came together at the Elliott Student Union to celebrate its 56th birthday, complete with cake and punch, and later in the afternoon, pins, Pepsi and pizza were available as well.

Throughout the day, Sodexo offered a variety of specials including 56 cent tacos at Taco Bell and 56 cent fries at Steak n’ Shake with the purchase of a shake.

The Elliott Student Union had a photo booth available for students to capture memories with their friends. The Center for Global Education, the Center for Multiculturalism and Inclusivity, Study Abroad and Green Dot held informational tables for their different organizations.

The grand opening of the Mule Post, which was created when the UPS store moved to Union 119, was celebrated with donuts, muffins, and free T-shirts.

Students took advantage of free late-night bowling to cap off the birthday celebration.
