“Sharkbites with Mako” (named “Shark” because the host’s name is Mako, which is a kind of shark, and “Bites” because it refers to the almost “Sample platter” nature of the show) takes small looks into different interests, hobbies, and pop culture. “Sharkbites” airs every Tuesday and Thursday at 3 p.m. on 100.3 KMUL-The Mule.

Mako Higgins(She/They) is a UCM transfer from the Lee’s summit area. They are a Digital Media Production major who loves anime, video games, TTRPGs, and cooking. Her favorite movie is Promare. They enjoy the music of TWRP and Shadow Academy, and love to spend their free time on creative endeavors. They are a third generation immigrant with grandparents on both sides born in Ireland, and have visited occasionally.
