The Western Missouri Medical Center Auxiliary raised more than $3,600 during its fourth annual Ice Social Sunday.

A total of 359 people attended the event, which raised funds to purchase a portable ultrasound/electrical stimulation unit for the new WMMC Sports Medicine Program, according to a news release. The unit will be used by the hospital’s certified athletic trainer, Brian Henry.
