The Burg Fest announces the first Home Brew Competition sanctioned by the American Homebrewers Association and the Beer Judge Certification Program. Judging will take place through the week with awards ceremony taking place at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 28 at the Beer Garden located at the intersection of Market and Holden Streets. Cost is $6 per entry.

First, second and third place ribbons will be awarded for each of the various categories, as well as first, second and third place awards for Best of Show. Entries will be judged by BJCP guidelines.

Pre-register your home brew at www.warrensburghomebrewcompetition.com. Registration closes at noon on Friday, Sept. 20.
