Warrensburg building inspection and zoning staff members will conduct an informational session Tuesday, May 12, for homeowners who are preparing to make home improvements. The class will be held in the Community Center, 445 E. Gay St., Room Multi C from 6-8:30 p.m. Homeowners are invited to attend this one-night class to learn what types of projects need a permit and an overview of applicable building and zoning codes and ordinances for common home improvement projects. Each attendee will receive a $20 gift certificate toward their future building permit fee. The class is free to attend but registration is required by calling the Community Center at 660-747-7178.
