Western Missouri Medical Center is hosting a free weight loss surgery seminar for people who are struggling with the decision to undergo weight loss surgery. The event takes place from 6-7 p.m. Tuesday, June 16, in WMMC’s Conference Room 1.

Attendees will have the opportunity to ask a board certified physician, Robert Kenney, DO, about any questions or concerns that they might have regarding the various procedures of bariatric surgery like adjustable gastric band, gastric bypass and sleeve gastrectomy.

The seminar is one of the many events that WMMC has offered as part of the WMMC 2015, “Healthy Community Initiative.”
