Old Drum Open Mic

Warrensburg’s next Old Drum Open Mic will be held on Sept. 1, and perspective writers and performers have begun scheduling performance slots.
Old Drum Open Mic meets the first Thursday of each month in the back room of Tranquility Shop, 128 North Holden Street in downtown Warrensburg. Show time for Thursday night, Sept. 1, is 6:00 until 8:00 pm. The sessions are free and open to the public.
The Old Drum Open Mic series was created in 2013, and provides a local platform for the presentation of creative works, including poems, songs, essays, short stories, scripts, comedy sketches, memoirs, and musical compositions. Performance slots are limited to 15 minutes, and can be pre-scheduled at the Old Drum Open Mic’s Facebook page.
